Can you take over an application built by someone else?
Yes, after an assessment. We first look at what exists (how it works, access, data, code when available), then tell you whether a takeover is reasonable and what to fix first, then give you a quote for the next phase.
Is it better to fix the application or rebuild it?
It depends on its condition, not on a general rule: readable code and sound data can be fixed and modernised; a fragile base, with no documentation or access, is healthier to rebuild. The assessment is there to decide, and we give you the reasons.
What does a security and quality audit include?
A review of access and accounts, data protection, backups and code quality, when the code is available. You get what we found and what we recommend, in order of priority. It covers the scope agreed in the quote: the absence of findings is not a guarantee that there are no flaws, and it is not a certification.
Does my application have to be declared to the CNDP?
If it processes personal data, law 09-08 applies and a declaration or prior authorisation from the CNDP is to be expected, depending on the case. We help you identify the data processed and the technical measures; for the legal procedure itself, legal advice is recommended.
How much does an audit or takeover cost?
It depends on the size and age of the application, the availability of code and documentation, the number of features and users, and the extent of what you want checked or taken over. We give you a detailed quote, free of charge, with the price and the timeline, in writing.
How does the quote request work?
You write us a few lines: the application concerned, what worries you, your desired timeline. We reply within two business days, by phone or in writing, to understand the situation, then send a detailed quote, free and with no obligation, with the price and the timeline.
